Live Loved! Part II

After hearing the life-changing and reverberating words “live loved,” the other day, I was reading through the book of Hebrews and the Lord highlighted five words that gave me immediate and practical understanding of how to walk it out. In order, they were: confidence, work, rest, confession, and conscience. But before I unpack their meanings, I know living loved is how God created us to be. We were created in the image of Love; therefore, it’s the only way we were designed to live. Looking closely at these five words, opens up a panoramic pathway to God’s original design—and the first is confidence.

Live loved with confidence. Hold fast your free, fearless, and cheerful courage. Do not throw off your boldness and assurance. Live loved, both with unreserved speech and in the way you conduct yourself. Be open and frank regarding the truth that sets humanity and creation free. Live loved, keeping secure your firm foundation that has actual existence. Live loved, with steadfastness of mind and resolution.

Live loved in your work—your employment, art, industry, or whatever undertaking you put your mind or hand to.

Live loved in His rest, in the quiet abode of God Himself. Live loved in the resting place of His heart. Settle down and allow the establishment of the kingdom of heaven in your heart, soul, mind, and body.

Live loved in your confession—your profession and acknowledgment of the One who is yours, and the One in whom you exist.

Live loved in conscience—in the freedom and adventure of having it clean and clear. Live loved in the moral consciousness of God’s covenant with you and yours with Him. Live loved in your understanding and comprehension of your abundant and shared life with Him. Live loved in the awareness of the release and breath that comes from knowing Him and being known by Him.

Live loved in your confidence, work, rest, confession, and conscience.

For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name…And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises….Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. (Hebrews 6:10-12;13:20,21).
