Revelation
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said… (Genesis 1:1-3)
I appreciate logic. But it can only take us so far. However, when revelation comes, it overrides every iota of logic, theology, reasoning and argument.
Revelation cannot be contained. It resonates, rolling out the reality of eternity - shattering the confines of time, space, and matter. Revelation permeates, tangibly blossoming in the tiniest cells and phonons. It silences the tongue, yet opens the mouth in praise, laudation and thanksgiving. Revelation brings one to their knees in worship, while causing a stance of unmitigated, stalwart resolve.
Without revelation the world is flat. Black and white. However, when revelation occurs, color and dimension break through, persisting and developing until the eternal kingdom of our God and Father are palpable.
When revelation appears - believe. Our “knower” knows without language or explanation. Belief is the moment when that flash of color and dimension spring to life; when we begin seeing, hearing, and experiencing His eternal kingdom.
Revelation comes when one is expectant.
...he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).
Revelation transpires when ones heart is hungry and thirsty for truth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled (Matthew 5:6).
Revelation arrives when one continually asks, seeks and knocks.
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. And he who seeks, finds. And to him who knocks, it will be opened to him (Matthew 7:7,8).
